Who We Are and What We Do

Born in Saint Louis, MO, Yolanda is the second oldest of eight children, where she learned the values of sharing and mentorship early in life. She pursued her academic goals with determination, earning both a BA in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Education, with added K-12 school counseling certification.Yolanda has made significant contributions to her community through her role as a full-time supervisor at Every Child's Hope, within the Foster Care Program. She also established her first 501(c)(3) nonprofit, The Goodrich Foundation Resource Center, in 2017, dedicated to providing essential resources like food and clothing to families in need, while also connecting them with additional community support.Her passion for helping children and young adults is evident in everything she does. Yolanda draws strength from her faith, demonstrating an unwavering resilience in overcoming life's obstacles and using her experiences to uplift and inspire others.Beyond her professional commitments, Yolanda is a devoted mother, sister, and friend. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, creative writing, and traveling, all while embodying kindness, grace, mercy, and calm.Yolanda lives by the belief that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" and embodies the spirit of Winston Churchill’s words: "Success is not final; failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts." 

Ashley Brooks, is a dedicated customer service specialist currently working with an Optical Supply Company in Saint Louis, MO. She has strong background in warehousing and have honed her skills in customer relations over the years.

As she looks to the future, her long-term goal is to help build a solid foundation of record-keeping and support as the secretary of the Goodrich Foundation Resource Center. She is passionate about serving our community and believe that great things can be achieved when we unite our strengths.

She looks forward to contributing to our community and collaborating with like-minded individuals who share similar aspirations. 

Michael Townsend is a St. Louis, MO native that has over 22 years of military experience and 15 years of business leadership experience in multinational and global environments. During his career, he has built a reputation for operational excellence, innovative strategic thinking, working with the highest level of integrity, and a deep and passionate commitment to service. 

Michael attended the University of Cincinnati earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Organizational Leadership and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University completing an Master’s of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. 

Michael began his career enlisting in the U.S. Army. He later commission as an Aviation officer, serving over in various global campaigns to include Operation Enduring Freedom and being detailed to the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh, Saudia Arabia as an Aviation Advisor to the Minister of Interior Military Assistance Group. Throughout his Army tenure, Michael also served as a Space Operations Officer, Logistics Officer, and an (S-3) Operations Officer. 

Michael also served a 6-year stint as an investigator with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms where he honed his investigative skills primarily focusing on firearms trafficking. He is currently a Special Agent with the U.S. Department of Treasury. 

Michael is married to his wife Alysia and is the father to Michael (son) and Milan (daughter). 

Lesia Wells brings over 23 years of experience in Human Resources, having worked in both profit and nonprofit organizations. She holds a Master’s Degree in Management, which complements her extensive background in fostering effective team dynamics and organizational growth. As the Committee Chair, Lesia is dedicated to advancing the mission of the organization through her leadership and strategic oversight.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Lesia is actively involved in her community, serving meals to those in need through her church, supporting local schools, and assisting single mothers with gifts. Her commitment to helping others also extends to food banks, where she contributes her time and resources. Lesia's passion for community service and her wealth of experience make her a valuable asset to our board

Anastasia Lindsey is an accomplished professional with a rich background and a passion for personal and community development.

She was born in Louisiana and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Science from Southeastern Louisiana University, where she focused on Organizational Communication. Her dedication to service is reflected in her membership in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated. 

Anastasia currently serves as a Corporate Learning and Development Coordinator/Facilitator and brings over 10 years of valuable experience to her role. Her expertise in training and development is complemented by her strong interest in the arts; she has even co-authored a book, showcasing her commitment to creativity and expression.

Beyond her professional life, Anastasia enjoys writing and cherishes time spent with her family and friends. She is also deeply committed to giving back to the community, illustrating her strong belief in making a positive impact in the lives of others.
